There was always something happening in the story that you just want to keep reading the book. You could not predict what was going to happen next in the story. However if you have a junior high student or even a struggling high school reader or ELL student, this may be a good adaptation or way to differentiate if teaching this novel to help the student get the basic concept of the novel. This is a good way for reluctant readers to access the story. Apr 03, Sarah Decker rated it it was amazing. Very easy read. Most likely meant for a middle-schooler because I was able to read it in a day.

This is one of the series' that got me reading as a kid. It's worth five stars just for that alone but it's also Frankenstein, so it's a great story anyway. A very nice adaptation of the original novel. A good book for younger readers, but I still wouldn't read it to anyone under the age of nine or ten. Find it! Read it! May 21, Junqi Wang rated it it was amazing. I don't understand why the monster wants to kill all Frankenstein's family?

The experiment works, but not in the way that Victor wants it to. He Frankenstein claims he does this This book is strangest book I've ever read. He Frankenstein claims he does this because Victor doesn't find him a wife. Also, once he reveals his true story, the reader can't help but feel a little sorry for him.

And then, the rest of the story is pretty horrifying though really good. It's amazing to think that this spooky, delightful-for-generations, story was written by a lady only 19 years old!
