So, is Canada the promised land? In my opinion, it comes pretty close. I was gobsmacked one day when I opened my mailbox to find a flyer. And then there are the simple things: People here really take the time to talk to each other; passengers queue to board a bus an unlikely sight in major U. I know, this all probably sounds pretty silly. My feelings of detachment from the current state of the American way of life came into even sharper focus during a trip to visit family and friends in the fall. The social and political dysfunctionality, a true cacophony of craziness, was like a dark cloud that followed people around and weighed on them.
Everyone I talked to seemed to just be waiting for things to get worse. It was overwhelmingly suffocating and I was absolutely ecstatic and relieved to return home to Vancouver. Do I feel bad? Maybe a little.

Now here's the trick Check every now and then to make sure your "cook" has not suffered major depression and stopped cooking! Once I have at least food and - iron and wood - then I go ahead and sell the rest of the "required amount" to the capital. Once this happens you will get interrupted every minutes with updates from Sebastian and your chance of gaining lots of supplies is gone! I sometimes leave this in the "power up" status overnight while I am sleeping and the next morning I have lots of food Be sure to "help" your people talk to each other when they are unhappy so they will continue to do so while you are not "minding" the game.

The "angry birds" part of the game wasn't really hard. I'm not a big AB fan but was able to keep the game going. Rated 5 out of 5 by VICKYMITT from The Promised Land I have really enjoyed this game starts a bit slow in places but the game play on the cannon well that was superb highly addictive and fun playing and the sound gives it an extra treat. Note I like to enjoy my game not a timed type however I have some time type but I like to do it in none timed played.
Rated 5 out of 5 by animal72 from one of the best Love this game. I wish they had more like this one. I see games that have sequels, this one needs to have one too. Highly recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 by Darjeelingg from Fun with the right amount of challenge This is my sort of game. Plenty of resource and time management, some allocation of skills and labour, and a few tim challenges thrown in as well.
There wasn't much of a storyline though but the game play made up for it. It was fairly straight forward to figure out. Got a bit tedious towards the end when trying to accomplish all the goals but finishing the game itself was satisfying.
