I was quite surprised by the number of fatal incidents that occurred at these sites. I had no idea that such tragedy unfolded in these historic beacons. However, the book read more like a travel guide with historical facts. While I did enjoy the info, I would have preferred if the actual ghost stories we Avid fans of the paranormal especially amateur ghost hunters and U. This was an interesting book, whether you like lighthouses, paranormal experiences, or touring the US you'll enjoy this book.

Each lighthouse that they highlight they give details about when it was started, who had it built, who currently owns-runs them.
